Meet Our Team

Samantha Brewer

Registered Massage Therapist, Classic Pilates Instructor

Samantha graduated in 2005 from the 3-year Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy program in Vernon, BC. She founded Nexus Therapeutics in 2011, with the vision of providing the highest level of care possible, aiding people on their journey back to health. She wanted to create an inviting and comfortable clinic setting which focuses on natural living.
 
From 2010 to present, Samantha has pursued education in osteopathic techniques, enabling her to identify root problems, address dysfunctions in various body systems and further her ability to offer comprehensive care.
 
In 2018, Samantha became a certified Classic Pilates instructor, offering private lessons in mat, reformer, and chair. She completed her training at Pilates From The Centre, a studio in North Vancouver, BC, with a lineage of only 3 generations tracing back to Joseph Pilates’ original teachings.
 
With a strong interest in natural health, competitive sports, and functional movement, Samantha’s choice of a career in massage therapy and Pilates instruction is a reflection of her passions. She consistently expands her knowledge of the human body through ongoing courses that allow Samantha to tailor treatments and meet the unique needs of each individual. Samantha’s expertise extends to Craniosacral Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Muscle Energy Therapy, Myofascial Connective Tissue Release, Neural Manipulation, Ortho-bionomy and Visceral Manipulation.
 
Beyond her professional pursuits, Samantha enjoys outdoor activities like hiking with her dogs, skiing, biking, kayaking and trail running. She’s an avid reader with a diverse range of interests and a strong appreciation for spending time outdoors.
 
Samantha does direct billing for most third party insurers.

Oryana Grant

Registered Massage Therapist

Oryana graduated in 2000 from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy 3-year program in Vernon, BC. Committed to continuous learning, she has furthered her education with courses in Hypnotherapy, LifeCoaching and Myofascial Release.
 
With a diverse clientele ranging from athletes to weekend warriors, Oryana excels in selecting the most effective modalities to support recovery. Her deep passion lies in providing individualized Therapeutic Massage. She listens attentively to her clients’ unique needs and customizes her treatment approach to expedite recovery and promote overall well-being. Oryana’s expertise encompasses Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Passive Stretching techniques, Pre/post Natal Massage and Sports Massage, all integrated into her Therapeutic Massage practice.
 
In her leisure time, Oryana enjoys quality moments with her children, leisurely walks with her dogs, skiing, biking, hiking, and paddle boarding. 
 
Oryana’s services are appproved by ICBC, DVA, RCMP and MSP, ensuring that clients have access to the care they need with the convenience of coverage. ICBC, DVA, RCMP and MSP approved.

Rio Levan

Registered Massage Therapist

Rio graduated in 2011 from the3-year Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy program in Vernon, BC. She has since established her practice in the Okanagan region. Prior to her RMT training, Rio completed an 8-month program at the Makawao School of Therapeutic Massage in Maui in 2001. She spent a decade workingas a spa practitioner before dedicating herself to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.
 
Rio’s journey into the world of massage began at a young age when, at 5 years old, she discovered the soothing power of massage by massaging her grandmother’s neck, who then peacefully fell asleep, allowing Rio to enjoy late-night TV! In her practice, Rio places a strong emphasis on creating personalized treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique needs, helping them achieve and maintain a pain-free, healthy lifestyle. Her expertise spans all age groups, from newborns to centenarians. She draws from a comprehensive range of techniques, including CranioSacral Therapy, Deep Tissue and Relaxation Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Therapy, Prenatal Massage, TMJ Release, TriggerPoint Therapy and Visceral Manipulation.
 
Outside her practice, Rio enjoys paddle boarding, snowboarding, dog walking and bike riding with her boyfriend and their children.

Dr. Shannon MacNeill

Chiropractor

Shannon graduated from the University of Regina in 1988 and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992. Shannon was in private practice in Regina for 13 years and concurrently worked at Wascana Rehab Hospital. Shannon relocated to Vernon in 2005 where she has worked in private practice for 18 years.

Shannon served her profession for 8 years on the Investigation Committee for the Chiropractors Association of Saskatchewan and 8 years on the Inquiry Committee for the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia. 

Shannon treats spinal issues with a diversified technique which includes manual spinal mobilization and manipulation, drop table, SOT blocks, and hand held instrument. She also uses cold laser and pulsed electromagnetic therapy to treat spinal and extremity problems of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles and feet. 

Shannon cares for all ages but has a soft spot for seniors, a group which has complex health needs but can benefit greatly to stay functional with chiropractic care. She has a passion for advocacy on women’s issues having been a member of Business and Professional Women of Canada for over 25 years. Shannon is married to Russ, a pharmacist and is mother to two young men.
